Shipping times — When will I receive my order?

All items (other than digital ones) are custom printed/sewn/embroidered on demand, which means that when you place an order, your design is custom-made especially for you. Depending on where in the USA you live, you should receive your item within 5–10 business days (under normal conditions, without shipping hiccups). For other countries, that time may be more.
All eCookbooks and printable digital items are immediately downloadable once your order goes through.
If you experience any problems with your transaction, please contact us, and we will be more than happy to assist you!

Do you ship internationally? 

Yes, at present we ship to the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Germany. If you live outside those areas, please contact us, and we'll see what we can do.

What is your return/refund policy?

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for reasons related to a change of mind, personal preference, or sizing errors. Be sure to review and read the sizing charts and descriptions before ordering! We want to make sure you get the best fit, as our custom-made items cannot be returned due to sizing errors!

Accepted Reasons for Returns and Exchanges:

We gladly accept returns and exchanges if a received item is defective or incorrect on our part. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • This return and exchange policy lasts for 21 days after the order’s original shipping date.
  • Please contact us first at eran@tourmygermany.com.
  • Explain the issue and provide clear photographic evidence of the damage, misprint, size tag or size discrepancy, along with a photo that demonstrates the tags are still attached and the product is in an opened but unused condition.
  • Include your order number and proof of purchase or a receipt.
  • If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too.

Downloadable products:

Downloadable products are not refundable or returnable. Please contact us at eran@tourmygermany.com if your order does not meet your expectations, and we’ll do our best to help you. Include your order number and proof of purchase, or a receipt.

How to measure T-Shirts and other garments

You can find the length and width measurements of each T-shirt in the size chart on the item's page.

To choose which is the best size for you, take a T-shirt that you already own and like the way it fits. T-shirts are usually measured by laying them flat on a surface to ensure they aren’t moving around or stretching. Use a standard 60-inch measuring tape. Avoid using short rulers or measuring tapes because they’ll likely give you inaccurate measurements.

  • LengthTo measure the length, lay out the shirt on a flat surface and measure the distance from the highest point of the shoulder down to the t-shirt’s bottom seam.
  • WidthTo get the chest width, measure from the bottom of one armpit to the other.
  • WaistMeasure the waist area by placing your measuring tape from one outer edge to the other.
  • Sleeve Length: Measure from the tip of the shoulder to the sleeve opening.

What is DGP ... Direct to Garment Printing

Direct to Garment Printing is digital printing. This delivers a smooth and soft finish that resists cracking and fading, using eco-friendly water-based inks. Each item is custom-printed after your order is placed. Some items, such as the totes, are also custom cut and sewn after they are printed. Our shirts/totes/hats/aprons do not have heat transfers.

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual; it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process, and it’s not permanent.

Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.

The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent, and both should go away after one wash.

Where is my eCookbook/digital file?

Downloads are available as soon as your payment is confirmed, which may take a few minutes. Once payment has cleared, you should receive a download notification email with your download link enclosed. If you don’t see your email, please check your junk or spam folder. 

Click “Download” and save the file to your computer. If you’ve purchased an eCookbook, use it right from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. If you’ve purchased art, cards, etc, you can print them at home or at a print shop and enjoy!

How do I download my eCookbook/digital file?

  • Once your payment has been confirmed, you will be taken to the download page and also receive an email with the link. Simply click on the link to download the file.
  • Select a place on your computer where to download it (keeping track of where so that you can find it again).
  • Once the download is complete, find the file(s) on your computer and open the file(s).
  • Now you can use the eCookbooks from your computer, tablet, or phone. If you have art/cards, then you can print them on your home printer or take them to your local print shop to have them printed professionally.

NOTE: If at all possible, do not download the files that you wish to print onto your mobile device, phone, or tablet. The quality and resolution of the image files may be reduced, which will result in poor print quality.

What are Printable Art and Printable Cards?

Printable Art is a quick, easy, and affordable way to accessorize your home and office. There’s no waiting for an item to be shipped, nor are there any shipping and handling fees. You receive a digital file that you can immediately print on your printer or take to a local print shop and hang your art the same day.

Printable cards are a quick and inexpensive way to access uniquely designed cards that you can immediately print on your printer. Print, trim, and fold. Send. Done. 🙂

How do I print my digital item?

  • After you purchase your downloadable digital item, a link will be provided to download a hi-res JPEG (some also include a PDF) for instantly printing using your home printer. For best results, set your print quality to High or use Photo Quality.
  • The final print quality will depend on your printer and the type of paper you use. For best results, use high-quality paper or white card stock with a luster or matte finish.
  • Since monitors and printers process colors differently, the colors you see on-screen may vary slightly from the printed product.
  • You can also use an online print service or your local photo lab for an inexpensive price to get a fabulous result.
  • Whether you choose to print and frame the photo to use as a piece of art in your home or to give as a gift, you are welcome to print as many as you like.

What type of paper should I use? 

If you are printing at home, you can use any type of paper. However, for best results use at least a 32 lb paper or higher. Photo paper works great. If you are printing cards, card stock weight paper (110 lb), that is specifically designed for printable cards will give the best results. The nicer the paper, the better the quality of the print will be.

Can I use the digital files commercially? 

All images and content are copyrighted by Tour My Germany and/or Just like Oma. Items are for personal, non-commercial use only. They may NOT be transferred, shared, forwarded, resold, distributed or posted by electronic means or as free downloads.
